Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Hazel L. Williamson attended the University of New Haven where she received her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. Her parents strove to provide their family with a better life and encouraged their daughter to pursue advanced education. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Williamson worked as a hygienist at a community health center where she took care of underserved patients. She went on to receive her master’s degree in biomedical science at Rutgers University before attending Roseman University College of Dental Medicine for her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. Upon graduating, Dr. Williamson received many awards, including the American Dental Education Association’s Dr. Jeanne Craig Sinkford Leadership Award, International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award, and the Distinguished Community Service Award. 

Dr. Williamson loves the satisfaction of providing beautiful, healthy smiles for her patients and has a passion for helping those in need. She is married and enjoys kayaking, hiking, cooking, doing yoga and spending time at the beach.
